Tom’s advertising career started with his multi-award winning XFM Bus viral, since then he’s gone on to direct a number of TV and Cinema campaigns for clients such as Brother, Dunlop, Totesport and Samsung. Alongside his commercial work his short films have screened at over 50 International Film Festivals including Raindance, Encounters, Nashville, Rio and CFC, picking up a handful of gongs along the way.
His work has also been screened on Channel 4. Having started out as an editor his solid understanding of narrative and structure allows him to get a story across in any form, whether a 10 second ident or a 60 second commercial.
His work shows a versatile mix of comedy performance and documentary that has a strong naturalistic style, dappled with moments of technical ingenuity. With acting in the blood he has the natural ability to entice engaging performances from both actors and non-actors alike. He’s also a very nice chap.
