About Us

The Gate Films has been producing commercials and advertising content for over 21 years. We understand the myriad environments in which moving-image exists. From TVCs to social feeds, we are equally at home producing a five-day international shoot as we are shooting table-top content in the studio.

About You

You'll contribute to all the creative elements of production and will be responsible for shaping them into a cohesive film. You'll need a strong creative vision and the ability to communicate your ideas to a variety of people throughout the production process. This will include your production team, crew, actors/models and those responsible for financing the film.

You will work on Gate projects with budgets anywhere between £5k-£60k producing a fully-fleshed, top-notch treatment to blow our prospect clients away and win us continuous exciting projects. You'll see work through from pre-production through to delivery, ensuring that the client is happy with your creative vision. In your downtime, you will support the team where needed, using your creative skills to support in-house branding and marketing projects.

Your Responsibilities...

Casting, script editing, shot composition, shot selection and editing.

Self-shooting with in-house camera gear.

Assisting on pitches, moodboards and creative ideas.

Working closely/assisting creative team.

Acting as the crucial link between the production, technical and creative teams.

Liaison with client and responsible for maintaining an excellent relationship.
