Big Brother is back on our screens, and so is TV legend/fitness fanatic Davina McCall, in our newest work for Foodspring!

Founded in Berlin in 2013, Foodspring has established itself as a leading innovator in the sports nutrition industry. 10 years later, with plans to launch for the first time in the UK, they enlisted the help of Davina, the brains at M&C Saatchi London, and our production team to build an impactful 2-part campaign.

First order of business was creating video and still assets to launch their new collaboration with Davina McCall, who has developed two products - a pair of protein drinks intended to help consumers 'Relax' and 'Focus'. The two drinks would each have their own 20s spot featuring Davina and the hero product.

Following the creative that had been crafted by M&C Saatchi closely with the team at Foodspring, director Harry George Hall brought the vision for two films to life in a studio in south-east London, on what turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year!

Harry also shot a range of stills to accompany the campaign, complimenting each film's different message of ‘Feed your day’ - an energetic, empowering spot, and ‘Feed your calm’, a more relaxed piece that would encourage anyone to take a breather from their busy day.

The Result was a pair of 20s social ads, plus 15s and 6s cutdowns, and key visuals to support the product launch. But we didn’t leave it there - following the first shoot, Foodspring returned to us with the brief for another suite of brand films to help them build brand recognition in the UK.

For this we enlisted our rostered director Graeme Hill, who helped transform the agency brief into a whole toolkit of assets to be used across Foodspring UK’s socials and in their UK advertising. We approached the toolkit brief by creating a series of ‘vignettes’ - six models representing a wide range of Foodspring customers, who all appear in their own fitness scenario, which covers a particular customer need. These vignettes could then be cut together to create a wide set of assets in different combinations that speak to different customer needs to work on different platforms.

And the client was delighted with the results…

"Huge thanks from our side on the great work yesterday, but of course also in prepping and bringing to life the feed your fit idea. We are very happy with what we have seen already and appreciate all the flexibility put in the day." - Foodspring team
