Bugsy Steel is a commercials director best known for his visual effects, combining clever in camera techniques with post, as well as strong comedy and narrative style.
He has recently been working on a number of commercials for international brands such as Mitsubishi, Ford, Nivea and Nissan. As well as directing commercials for Lexus, Chanel, IWC, Mr.Porter, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Ikea and many more.
An interest in drama is demonstrated in various short films that Bugsy has written and directed winning him multiple international awards, most recently his short film Fighter picked up two awards at the BFI London Film Festival and has already started getting industry attention.
Bugsy comes from a music video background where he established a distinct directing style working with numerous successful artists including Bloc Party, Two Door Cinema Club, Ellie Goulding and the Wild Beasts.
